March 2005 Baltimore Training Chair/Vice-chair l Know Constitution and bylaws l Develop meeting plans and agenda l Preside over section meetings l Establish and support chapters l Identify volunteers and present to Executive Committee for review l Ensures proper training of officers and committee chairs

March 2005 Baltimore Training Chair/Vice-chair (cont) l Verifies accuracy of L-50 and signs l Ensures performance of other officers and committee chairs l Appoints nominating committee l Prepares reports on section activities to Region l Transfers records to new Chair

March 2005 Baltimore Training Secretary l Record minutes of Section/Chapter meetings l Distribute agenda and meeting notices l Ensure meetings are reported to RAB l Notify RAB of officer changes l Maintain forms, stationary, etc. l Maintain Section records l Submit bylaws changes to Region/RAB

March 2005 Baltimore Training Treasurer l Maintain financial records l Maintain bank account l Ensure signature cards are signed and processed for IEEE staff l Prepare annual budget l Chair Finance Committee l Make disbursements IAW approved budget

March 2005 Baltimore Training Treasurer (cont) l Refer expenses outside budget to Chair l Ensure expenditures IAW IEEE policy and law l Familiar with financial section of RAB Operations Manual l Prepare financial reports l Submit annual L-50 Financial Report l Transfer financial records

March 2005 Baltimore Training Awards and Recognition l Knowledgeable of IEEE governance documents l Maintain awards records and transfer at end of term l Submit awards and award nominations l Draft recognition letters l Preside over A&R Committee

March 2005 Baltimore Training PACE and Education l Knowledgeable of IEEE governance documents l Maintain awareness of Section demographics and career/educ. activities l Maintain awareness of IEEE career/educ. activities l Plan and execute programs for career/educ. development of Section membership l Transfer records

March 2005 Baltimore Training Student l Maintain awareness of student activity programs with Regional Student Activites Chair and Student Representative l Maintain communications with Student Branches l Plan and execute training programs for student branches l Transfer records

March 2005 Baltimore Training Membership Development l Maintain current membership records l Distribute SAMIEEE information as required l Communicate with Regional membership development l Serve as resource for Senior Member elevation l Receive monthly membership statistics and pass on to Section EXCOM l Plan membership recruitment with GOLD and student branches l Transfer records
