VINITI RAN History and present time Founded – 1952 by Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) Since that time – the leading information center in former Soviet Union (USSR), and now – in Russia and CIS countries Today – one of the main producers of scientific and technical information in the world

VINITI RAN VINITI’s Abstract Journal - RZh Published since 1952 continuously Periodical publication with monthly or bimonthly issues Annually includes about 1 million indexed documents as abstracts, summaries and bibliography of scientific and technical primary publications Sources from 70 countries on 40 languages Includes 70% - foreign documents, 30% - Russian documents Consists of 28 summary subject volumes with 208 sections, each of which is issued independently as well, plus 41 subject sections not included in summary volumes
