2. 2 Who is Multimedia Campus  Multimedia Campus - Università di Pavia is the first Italian joint venture between a public university and a private entity. 3. 3 The promoters’ contribution  In Multimedia Campus the two promoters’ contribution is determined by their respective competences: –the century-old experience, high-specialised lectures and well- known lecturers of Università di Pavia –the skills in the design and development of multimedia courses that characterise the activity of Opera Multimedia  A demonstration of how future and innovation can result from tradition [ Tradition + Innovation ]

4. 4 Multimedia Campus - activities  Spin-off and rationalisation of e-learning and multimedia publishing activities developed by the university –transformation of post-graduate courses into a digital format deliverable at a distance –delivery of multimedia contents on the external market  Fund raising, in particular participation in research projects financed either by Italian ministries, the regions or the European Union
