-Steering Group to define academic standards (starting with Levels D and E) -Cluster Taskforces to identify academic strengths -Definition of research- and teaching-intensive positions

Academic Strengthening -Leadership of academic heads: -To recognise excellence in academic performance -To identify and manage academic strengthening opportunities -To select the right performance supervisors who will properly manage performance and development of academic careers -To use the the new on-line performance development system to support performance management -To identify and manage underperformance -To ensure that the efforts of professional staff are also supporting these goals

Passport - Mark II -Refinement of course offerings -2008: approx. 12,000 unique timetables -Less duplication: 10% initial reduction -Lighter administrative burden -School and community engagement to grow bigger, better pool of incoming students Watch this space!
