#Component Description 1SAP (abstraction of the full SAP stack) 2Batch Manager (CRON) sends batch files as triggered by Custom ABAP (component 16) 3MQ Server, receives and forwards modified IDOCs created for specific events 4Websphere Message Broker – ESB to send data from SAP to various consumers in different formats and protocols 5External Vendor Hosted System, we make requests for supplies on a daily basis 6Enterprise Data Warehouse for reporting 7Another important SAP system 8Spreadsheet used for updating Lotus Notes database (component 9) 9Lotus Notes database used for something important 10SAP 11SAP Web Application Server (WAS, formally Basis) 12DB2 – the underlying database used by SAP 13LSMW – Legacy System Migration Workbench (loads spreadsheets), this is used to import the data migration files produced by Datastage 14Standard reports within SAP – within the SAP GUI this is referred to as Information System 15Custom reports, custom built reports in SAP 16Custom ABAP mainly for building batch interfaces 17SAP GUI – Thick client for accessing SAP functions 18SAP Portal – SAP Portal Solution 19Single Sign On to our directory (LDAP) High Level Component Descriptions
