Pushing the development further, approaches to a „next generation eLearning“ are tested and implemented in teaching. Examples are: Highly interactive simulation environments Remotely controlled experiments Online programming exercises Coordinating several consortia, the University of Stuttgart is interconnecting campus management systems and eLearning applications of different universities. Courses in Humanities and Social Sciences can be combined with courses in the Natural Sciences and Engineering.
