9 INET Africa, Mauritius, November 30, 2006 ISOC in Africa ISOC was active in Africa since its early daysISOC was active in Africa since its early days –1993 to 2001, through the annual Internet Society (ISOC) Network Training Workshop for Countries in the Early Stages of Internetworking –Supporting trainings and workshops organized by Afnog, Aftld, Afrinic during the last 8 years –Supporting participation of Africans in IETF –Promoting ISOC chapters in Africa –Supporting projects initiated by chapters
