Mash-ups - aggregations of content from different online sources to create a new service. Peer-to-Peer Networking (P2P) - sharing files over the Internet or within a closed network. Podcasts - audio or video recordings, a multimedia form of blog or other content. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) online subscriptions distributing news, blogs or podcasts. Social Networking - people sharing personal or professional information with each other in online communities. Social Media - content created using scalable online publishing technologies. Web Services - software systems that communicate with one another to share information or conduct transactions. Wikis (eg: Wikipedia) - systems for collaborative publishing that allow many authors to contribute to an online document or discussion.
