For easier visualisation, statistical data are also presented in graphical charts.

37. CRC-SI Project 3.1 Concepts and Principles for Virtual Australia Developing a Virtual Australia by uniting research and commercial innovation in spatial information technologies

38. The main aim of this project is to develop a preliminary set of concepts, functions and principles to facilitate the development of Virtual Australia based on CRC vision. As part of the first year of the project, a review and analysis of current SI and SDI initiatives is being undertaken, including related developments in selected jurisdictions (VIC, NSW, WA) and at national level. The research outcomes of this project will provide a foundation for identifying best practice and key performance indicators to aid in the integration of jurisdictions to facilitate the development of Virtual Australia.
