HiPath SIcurity Card Manager is a Web-based card management system (CMS) for managing and personalizing smart cards. The range of capabilities is from recording of cardholder data to issuing smart cards. Administration of the status of cards that have already been issued is supported as well. HiPath SIcurity Card Manager is a Web-based single-source solution for card management and card personalization. The range of capabilities is from recording of cardholder data to issuing smart cards. Administration of the status of cards that have already been issued is supported as well. HiPath SIcurity Card Manager provides interfaces to data bases and other systems that supply data for card management and are required for card utilization, e.g. physical access control or Certification Authorities. A digital camera connection is provided and an automatic image processing tool is integrated for applying a photo of the card holder to the card. System users with different authorizations can be created by means of user administration. For card output, HiPath SIcurity Card Manager supports a number of printers with integrated card readers so that visual and electronic personalization of cards can be performed in one step.
HiPath SIcurity Card Manager is an attractive solution for Small and medium-sized organizations employing between a few hundred and approximately 20,000 employees, because it can be flexibly integrated and adapted to any environment. No matter which purposes the card serves – for example as a corporate ID card, campus card –complete card management and personalization is performed within minutes.
