2 Overall Pass Rates Fall 1998 On average in 37 courses offered in Fall 1998, students in paired sections passed 79% of the time, compared to a 73% pass rate in unpaired sections of the same courses.

3 College-Level Courses Fall 1998 Pass rates were higher in 16 out of 24 college-level courses in which both formats were offered.

4 Basic Skills Courses Fall 1998 Pass rates were higher in 7 out of 11 basic skills courses in which both formats were offered.
