New imagery coming soon: soon will be able to access 2009.5 m Color Imagery GEO will make a public announcement about accessing the new imagery likely in the next couple of weeks.

The future of OIE The 2009 1/2 meter imagery is now available as a service for GPL to test internally. This service is hosted on GEO’s new server architecture, which has not yet switched over to the new domain name (navigator.state.or.us). Before this switch is complete, we ask that you do not share the link with the general public. GEO will make a public announcement when the domain name switch occurs, which we expect to happen within the next two weeks. We will also be working to integrate this with the other imagery products available on the Oregon Imagery Explorer.Oregon Imagery Explorer You can connect to the image service through its REST endpoint: http://159.121.100.164/ArcGIS/rest/services/BaseMaps/Imagery_Mosaic2009/ImageServer http://159.121.100.164/ArcGIS/rest/services/BaseMaps/Imagery_Mosaic2009/ImageServer Follow these steps to connect directly in ArcMap (via registering GEO's ArcGIS Server): 1) select 'Add Data', choose 'GIS Servers' from the list 2) select 'Add ArcGIS Server', then choose the option 'Use GIS Services' 3) enter http://159.121.100.164/ArcGIS/rest/services/BaseMaps/Imagery_Mosaic2009/ImageServer' for the Server URL and click finish.http://159.121.100.164/ArcGIS/rest/services/BaseMaps/Imagery_Mosaic2009/ImageServer 4) The connection to the server will now be listed under the GIS Servers category, the 2009 imagery (called ‘Imagery_Mosaic2009’) is located under the 'Basemaps' folder. The service is available in the following formats: ArcGIS REST, SOAP, WMS, and WCS

Oregon Imagery Explorer and the Oregon Spatial Data Library: Connecting decision makers with the data they need when they need it

Usage: Spatial Data Library Total # of visits since 2/10: 18,017 Note: Began tracking usage tracked on February 15, 2010

“Time saver in hunting down data I need, which saves money. Also releases me from needing to keep copies of all data on my computer which would require purchase of additional memory. Also saves time and money in collecting data which already exists.” Feedback and Use State government comment, March 2011 “The imagery page is, by far, the most helpful non-ODOT resource I use. I use it regularly, weekly; and often daily!” Permit Specialist comment, April 2010

Congratulations, you have made it through the last talk of this conference!
