Great wall of china The long wall of link , is series of stone and earthen forttifications in northern china. Built, rebuilt and maintained between the 5th century BC and the 16th century to protect the northen borders of the chinese empire. The Great wall stretches from shanhaiguan in the east to Lop Nur in the west.

Great wall of china was established in 1927.
In 2009 an additional 290 kilometres (180 miles) of previously undetected portions of the wall built during the Ming Dynasty, were discovered.

Colosseum The Colosseum or Roman Coliseum, Originally the Flavian Amphitheatre. Is an elliptical amphitheatre in the center of the city of Rome, Italy, the largest ever built in the Roman Empire. It is one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and Roman engineering.

Capable of seating 50,000 spectators, the colosseum was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles.

Christ the Redeemer Christo redemptor is a statue of Jesus christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, considered the largest are deco statue in the world. The statue stands metres (130 ft) tall, including its 9.5 metre (31 ft) pedestal, and 30 metres (98 ft) wide. It weighs 635 tons (700 short tons), and is located at the peak of the 700 metres (( ft) corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park over looking the city.

It is one of the tallest of its kind in the world. The statue of Christ the Redeemer is a very important symbol of Brazils catholicism. On 7 July 2007, Christ the Redeemer was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Chichen Itza Chichen Itza is a large pre-columbiam archaeological bult by the Maya civilization located in the northern center of the Yucatan Peninsula, in the Yucatan state, present- day Mexico. Chichen Itza was a major regional focal point in the northern Maya lowlands from the late classie through the terminal classic and in to the early portion of the Early postclassie period.

Taj Mahal The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal (also”the Taj”) is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles.

In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was cited as “the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the worlds heritage”.

petra Petra meaning rock, Arabic: Al-Batra is an archaeological site in the Arabah, Maan Governorate, Jordan. It is renowned for its rock- cut architecture.petra is also one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. It was famously described as ‘arose-red city half as old as time “ in a newdigate prize- winning sonnet by John William Burgon.

UNESCO has described it as “one of the most precious cultural properties of man cultural heritage “. In 1985, petra was designated a world heritage site.

Machu Picchu Machu Picchu Quechua: Machu Pikchu, “Old Peak “ pronounced is a pre- columbian Inca site located 2,430 metres above sea level. It is situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru, which is 80 kilometres northwest of Cuzco and through which the Urubamba River flows. Often referred to as “The Lost City of the Incas”, Machu Picchu is one of the most familiar symbols of the Inca Empire.
