2.  Paperwork – all must be completed and returned to me by end of class  You will be responsible for packing your own lunch (preferably WASTE FREE) for Saturday  Any questions or concerns?

3.  What’s the problem? The scale of waste in our society.  Where is it? Everywhere. - The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, developing countries, landfills, and our own backyards  How are we dealing with it? -The Solid Waste Agency, waste haulers in Josephine County, and RECYCLING (collection, processing at Material Recovery Facilities, and markets for recycled goods)
