3 Using a competency-based approach to identify the management behaviours required to manage workplace stress in nursing: a critical incident study.  Interviews were conducted (n=41)  19 forms of stress management were found to be used by the nurses  The 3 most often used were management of workload and resources, individual consideration, and participative approach.  They found that managers are a huge means to relieve much stress in the nursing environment

4 Using a competency-based approach to identify the management behaviours required to manage workplace stress in nursing: a critical incident study.  “there are important skills gaps with regard to managing workplace stress.”  More needs to be done to reduce stress in the workplace for nurses.
