Requirements Should be able to be used across a variety of settings or a specific one that you define. Identify your client/audience/end-user Handbook can be used for training and reference Content covers key areas for working effectively in teams Each section should include (may vary with your specific proposal, but get approval): Objectives Introduction & rationale Content information (e.g., concepts, skills, practices, etc.) Examples & graphics Assessment tool with explanation of its use (if appropriate for the topic) Team exercises or activities to demonstrate key points or skills APA style In-text citations and references

Must have at least five content sections to it; 7-10 pages each Topics and content can be organized around developmental stages, common problems, or some other rationale, but must be stated at the beginning Handbook can be paper manual or web-based Identify criteria/metrics that can be used to test against the deliverables (monitor progress)? Reflect on personal experiences regarding what is needed Consider using the dynamics of your own team to help identify what issues should be covered by such a handbook Teams may collaborate on ideas & resources but each team must have its own handbook Teams should use good principles of project management in producing the handbook Sample handbooks are available for review from previous classes Review literature and sample handbooks & training materials Interview representative users Be sure and consult with your primary client (the instructor) as you go along Some final suggestions

Handbook Presentation can be in any of these formats Website with linked pages, imbedded video and graphics, text and links Paper handbook/manual with chapters Wiki (similar to website) with topical pages More information on this assignment will be discussed in class
