Textbook evolution predictions: E-texts will be discoverable modular. E-texts will be social, enabling conversations among local students and faculty, other students and faculty using the module and the module author. Professors will be curators, selecting modules to teach, creating new modules, and finding related people and material. We will need new tools to support this activity. We will need new ways of producing, discovering and marketing teaching modules.
