Who is the target audience? ◦ Primary/secondary ◦ Visual effects in editing can enhance this ◦ Font size throughout (larger for ‘senior’ audience; fun font for elementary school) ◦ Does it reflect the brand?

Make sure all video assets are in consistent ‘containing’ folder If you move location of any of these, the program will ask you for the location when you open the file

LS, MS, CU, MCU, XCU (more is better) Moving the audience into the scene Matching action Close ups of action (watch for continuity)

Dip to black/white ‘transition’ will aid in communicating change in scene Fade up audio effective for ‘nat sound’ (natural sound)

Edit Review ◦ Check for consistency/flow ◦ Have others review (post to YouTube: ‘unlisted’) Cut Re-Edit Review again Check for typos
