8 Discussion The results indicated that CMTPPB may have bound with the DNA. The evidence for this was: A negative energy on HyperChem On the Cary Spectrophotometer, there was a shift in the melting curve of the DNA and CMTPPB sample, compared to the native DNA sample For future investigations: More trials Different concentrations of the compound of interest
