3 Al Capone, The Life Al Capone was born on January 17, 1899. Capone was involved in a mob called The Outfit. Al never responded well to authority when he was in 6th grade he beat his female teacher and left. Capone killed a man named Colosimo on May 11, 1920. Al took Johny Torrio’s place as head of the Chicago Mafia in 1925. Capone was a part of the famous St. Valentine’s Day Massacre on February 14, 1929. Al Capone

5 The Childhood Alphonse was born on January 17, 1899 to Gabrielle and Teresina Capone. Who immigrated to the US in 1893. Al was 4th of 9 children. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY in a neighborhood infested with kid gangs.

7 Major Events Capone’s life starts when he was born on January 17, 1899 in Brooklyn, NY. He eventually joined the outfit which he eventually gained control of. Capone was arrested for tax evasion in May of 1932.

8 The Legacy Al Capone is known as the most notorious Gangster of all time. Al unlike most other gang leaders was arrested for income tax evasion in May of 1932. This shows how notorious he really was, it shows how well he cleaned up his tracks. Alphonse was born on Jan. 17, 1899 he had 8 other brothers and sisters.

9 Glossary Evasion-an act of violating the tax laws by refusing to pay all or part of one’s taxes. Mafia-a secret organization involved in smuggling, and racketeering. Immigrated-to come to which one was not born in. Infested-to be largely numbered in, also undesirable.
