We Lay down sand sausages in corn cloth from Mongolia. We use a big funnel to fill up the corn cloth. Then set the sand sausages all over the sand dune in a grid form that cover the whole sand dune.
3
Mix soil, clay (but today we used cat litter :P) seeds, red clay, and water. Mud Balls help restore vegetation lost from the sand dune, and is planted on top of the dune. This process would help prevent the dune to move and bury homes.
4
Have volunteers of community (schools, stores, churches, community centers, ect. ) come help make mud balls and the sand sausages to put on the sand dunes. Set up the sand sausages and put them on the dune. Volunteers could get the chance so smash the mud balls into the ground.
5
Reach out to Mansel Nelson and ask for some help with our climate change situation Ask chapter officials for any sponsors for environmental programs that could help out with our communities problem with sand dunes.
