HISTORY Originates from a dance ritual called Kasilonawan, headed by a katalonan lasts for nine days feasting, drinking, singing and dancing held in the home of a datu

Place of Origin Obando, Bulacan B. People of Origin Franciscan Missionaries introduced a trio of saints: Saint Claire Saint Paschal Our Lady of Salambao

because of the introduction of these saints by the Franciscan Missionaries, along with the Kasolinawan, the Santa Clara (part of the three-day festival & Obando Fertility Rites) was established paved the way to the Santa Clara celebration

PURPOSE Santa Clara (Saint Claire) - the patron saint of the childless
The Santa Clara is held every May 18: to appeal to Santa Clara and ask for children to express their gratitude for the blessings they receive
