CC Magnets 1 st CC magnet – Cold mass at LBNL First physical (CMM) and electrical measurements complete; Design of the cooling circuit finalized for Fermilab testing; Vacuum potting prep underway; Thermal stress analysis during cool-down complete; PID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) in progress. – Quench protection Contract signed with MIT; Preliminary analysis of QP indicated 4 sub-divisions may be adequate (original design has 8); Design of the stabilization of HTS and SC current and QP leads underway at MIT.

MICE RF Cavities RF coupler design updated; Additional welding of cavity support struts complete; Single cavity vessel fabrication complete and expect to arrive Fermilab this month; Fabrication of six tuner arms in progress at Fermilab; Discussions on potential assistance from LBNL on MICE LLRF control initiated.
