15 University of Maryland Extension faculty at the facilities conduct research projects and provide non-formal educational programs. 16 AGNR Research & Education Centers Along with Extension offices in each county, the research and education centers serve as a “front door” to the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. 17 AGNR Research & Education Centers Maryland Agricultural Experiment Station (MAES) maintains the facilities. Facility staff work closely with researchers on their projects to ensure all protocol is followed.
