What is IASP? DoD Information Assurance Scholarship Program – Scholarship that covers: full cost of tuition select fees required books lab expenses supplies and equipment – Stipend: Undergraduate student: $14,000 per academic year Graduate student: $19,000 per academic year

What is the “service obligation”? It is actually a guaranteed job! – You will receive employment by DoD civilian agencies upon graduation, and get paid salary! – You must be employed for at least the number of years you have received scholarship for. e.g. if you have accepted 2-year’s scholarship, after graduation you will need to be employed by DoD for at least two years.

Eligibility Requirement U.S. citizenship Will be junior/senior in fall 2011 Pursuing a course of study in computer security and/or information assurance Minimum GPA of 3.2 for undergraduate

What you need to do if you want to apply Let me know your intent by Feb 18. Send in your application ASAP! – Application Forms – Resume – Two letters of reference – Official transcripts Deadline extended to Feb 23.
