Course Description: This is a 16 week course that covers human development from conception through adulthood. Includes physical, cognitive, emotional and social development. Also includes an overview of research methods that are used in developmental psychology.

Student Expectations Late Policy No late work is accepted; no exceptions. Attendance Students are expected to attend all classes to fully comprehend the subject and do well.

Assignments There will be assignments every other week based on material covered. 8 total assignments All assignments are worth up to 25 points and will be graded according the the assignment rubric located in the course syllabus.

Discussions Students are expected to complete two discussions per month (8 total). Students can pick one topic from three choices. Discussions are worth up to 20 points. Discussions must be 250 words in length and will be graded according to the discussion rubric located in the course syllabus. Quizzes There will be a chapter quiz for every chapter covered. Each quiz is worth up to 15 points. Some quizzes will have extra credit questions worth up to 5 additional points.
