Operation Martillo (Hammer) Recent Case from September 2014: – $423M of cocaine drugs seized and 55 suspects were apprehended during 18 separate interdictions. – 15 go-fast pursuits resulting in the interdiction of six drug laden vessels and disruption of nine additional cases. – Cutters BEAR and LEGARE worked together to intercept a go-fast boat carrying over 1,000 kgs of cocaine. – Cutter BEAR followed up with a 56 hour boarding on a suspicious coastal freighter, where approximately 700 kgs of cocaine was found. – Cutter BOUTWELL netted over 2250 kgs of cocaine.
