2 Purpose Raise community awareness of STEM/STEAM initiative. Motivate students to consider college and career in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Math field.

5 Purpose Raise community awareness of STEM/STEAM initiative. Motivate students to consider college and career in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Math field. Immerse students into a Common Core & 21 st Century learning skills practicum.

6 Practicum 10 student groups in 8 th grade science will host hands on activities related to Physical Science. Target elementary students. This brings in elements of Design Thinking. They have to collaborate, innovate, problem solve and communicate.

7 How 35 booths with hands on activities related to STEAM. Booth hosts: 1.teacher & student groups 2.Local businesses/companies 3.Clubs & professional associations 4.Universities
