Rosters can be used to:  Link the teacher (by email address) and the student (by SSID), using a roster name.  Enable groups of students to be associated with a teacher at a particular school.  Represent entire classrooms in lower grades, or individual classroom periods in upper grades.  Represent special courses or groups of students. Rosters are available at all times, except when TIDE is down for scheduled maintenance. 24
