2. Review of terms
Take a copy of the notes from the clip and fill in the following:
alliteration – the repetition of consonant sounds, often at the beginning of words
assonance – the repetition of similar vowel sounds
rhyme – words that have the same sound, especially at the end of the word

3. Highlight or underline examples of alliteration, assonance, and rhyme from the following passages. Take turns using the pens to mark them on the board. Annotate the two passages in your notes, as well.
