Objective To share with you teachers’ expectations of your child as well as the class practice. To establish communication and work with you in helping your child achieve success in his/her learning.

Class Practice (English) Weekly Spelling or Dictation Composition Situational writing Additional Worksheets & resources

Class Practice (English) English Learning Sheet – Sign after the completion of each chapter. (There will be a parent’s signature stamp on the first page of the unit.) Spelling Book – Sign after spelling & dictation. English File (Red) – Unit Worksheets, revision papers and Review papers will be filed in. – Sign on the Revision papers. – Ensure all corrections are done. Composition File (Blue) – Check through to track your child’s progress.

Maths File (Yellow) – Visible Thinking Workbook – Topical Worksheets – Topical Tests are to be signed and filed in – Will be returned before examinations for revision – Ensure that your child uses it for revision

Pupil’s Handbook Recording of homework Important announcements Things to bring Message(s) to parents. To serve as a communication book for parent(s) and teacher(s). Set and review targets for examinations. To be brought to school every day.

Class Matters Homework Refer and check homework listed in Pupil’s Handbook for daily work/monitoring. Encourage your child to do the work himself/herself. Do all work neatly and carefully. Check work done at least once before handing in to the teacher. Hand in homework on time. Do not hand in incomplete or sloppy work.
