Such charges are determined by the cancellation charge percentage matrix Cancellation charges are calculated by multiplying all nonrecurring charges associated with the order, or that part of the order being cancelled, by the percentage shown in the cancellation percentage charge matrix based on the last critical date completed on the order.  On the due date, cancellation charges will be calculated at 100% of the applicable charges

Interconnection Services Issue Date: 01/03 7 Private/Proprietary: Not for Use or Disclosure Outside BellSouth Except Under Written Agreement LightGate® Service and SMARTRing® Service Cancellation Charges When a customer cancels an order for LightGate or SMARTRing before the service date, the customer will be liable for all capital expenses incurred by BellSouth as of the date the order is cancelled by the customer.  The charges billed to the customer will not exceed an amount equal to the minimum period for the service (most often 4 months – See FCC Tariff 1 Section 7.4) at the month-to-month rates. These charges are billed in addition and subsequent to the cancellation charges set forth in the cancellation charge percentages matrix.
