3. TAYYAB طیّب

4. Allah (SWT) says in the Qur’an: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُواْ مِمَّا فِي الأَرْضِ حَلاَلاً طَيِّباً وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ O mankind! Eat of that which is lawful and pure on the earth, and follow not the footsteps of Shaytan. Verily, he is to you an open enemy. [Surah Al Baqarah 2: Verse 168]

5. … يَأْمُرُهُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَاهُمْ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَيُحَرِّمُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْخَبَآئِثَ وَيَضَعُ عَنْهُمْ إِصْرَهُمْ وَالأَغْلاَلَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ بِهِ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ وَاتَّبَعُواْ النُّورَ الَّذِيَ أُنزِلَ مَعَهُ أُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ “…for he (the Prophet) commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure)…” (Surah al- A’raf, 7: Verse 157)

6. يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ … They ask you (O Muhammad) what is lawful for them (as food). Say: Lawful for you are At-Tayyibat. [Surah Al Maidah 5:Verse 4]

7. فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللّهُ حَلالاً طَيِّبًا وَاشْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتَ اللّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ So eat of the lawful and good (pure) food which Allah has provided for you. And be grateful for the Grace of Allah, if it is He whom you worship (Surah An Nahl 16: Verse 114)

8. The Prophet (PBUH) said: “That which is lawful is clear and that which is unlawful is clear” [Sahih Muslim] #4178
