IBM Software Group | Tivoli software 9 Install Logs Use Installation Manager to view install logs (best way) Launch Installation Manager Menu File>View Log to bring up the dialog Select a log file, click Open Log File icon at top right corner Installation Manager log files are in directory non-root: $USER_HOME/var/ibm/InstallationManager/logs root :/var/ibm/InstallationManager/logs Impact Logs IMPACT_HOME\logs\install Installation Manager and Impact logs /tmp/impact_logs_.zip

IBM Software Group | Tivoli software 10 Impact 7.1 version The official position is that to move from 7.1.0.0 to 7.1.0.1, it’s a fresh install and customers must do an export and import (no in-place upgrade allowed). The same applies for customer who want to go from 7.1.0.0 IF0001 to 7.1.0.1. Note: 7.1.0.1 is considered a FP1 level - and it includes the IF ( IF0001 ) and more. In the next few months, there's a planned delivery of FP2. This is a cumulative and will be an in-place upgrade, i.e. can be installed on top of the following 7.1.0.0 7.1.0.0 IF0001 7.1.0.1
