3. MATT WATSON Grew up in a small town in Auckland. He started fishing when he was 3 years old with his father and grandfather. He lived in Weymouth and had a dinghy that he went out in by himself when he was 7 years old. He was a fishing nut.

4. Once Matt had left school he started fishing for a job as a commercial fisherman for his uncle. He had a fight with his uncle and his job ended. He then started roofing houses but still went fishing every weekend. When Matt was 25 he decided to have a go at being a skipper on a game fishing boat in the Bay of Islands. He worked on a boat called Primetime. They caught the most Marlin for the season.

5. MATT then started writing for the fishing magazines. And with no experience he decided to start a TV show with his mate who also knew nothing about TV.

7. This is Matt jumping from a helicopter and wrestling a Marlin. Matt said that you need to take a photo of the big fish and take the little fish only in the size limit. Take as much fish as you need to feed your friends and family but keep it in the limit.

8. Matt is famous for the TV videos which are shown in NZ and all around the world.
