3 May 2015 Submission doc.: 05-15-1082-05-00aj Shiwen He, Haiming Wang Control PHY PPDU Format The control PHY PPDU frame is composed of the QMG control PHY STF, QMG control PHY CEF, QMG control PHY SIG, QMG control PHY Data field, and possibly AGC and TRN-R/T subfields. The QMG Control PHY Short Training field (STF) is composed of a series repetitions of the sequence ZCZ of length 256. The QMG Control PHY Channel Estimation field (CEF) is illustrated as following figure for 540 MHz channel. Slide 3

The QMG SC PHY Channel Estimation field (CEF) is illustrated in Figure 1 and Figure 2 for 540 MHz channel bandwidth and 1080 MHz channel bandwidth, respectively. For 1080MHz SC transmission, the STF fields, the CEF fields and the SIG fields are transmitted with duplicated style and the corresponding mask of the spectrum is illustrated in Figure 3. SCTF is only used for SC 1080MHz channel transmission and the mask of the spectrum is illustrated in Figure 4. 7 May 2015 Submission doc.: 05-15-1082-05-00aj Shiwen He, Haiming Wang OFDM PPDU Format An OFDM PHY PPDU frame is composed of the OFDM PHY STF fields, the OFDM PHY CEF field, the QMG OFDM PHY SIG field, the OFDM Long Training Field (MCTF), OFDM symbols and the optional training fields The QMG OFDM PHY Short Training field (STF) is composed of a series repetitions of the ZCZ sequence of length 256. The QMG OFDM PHY Channel Estimation field (CEF) is illustrated in Figure 5 and Figure 6 for 540 MHz channel bandwidth and 1080 MHz channel bandwidth, respectively. The STF, CEF and SIG are transmitted with SC modulation.
