HPV is one of the most common sexually transmitted disease worldwide. HPV contributes to over 90% of cervical cancer cases worldwide Cervical cancer is one of the leading cause of morbidity and mortality among women HIV-infected women are at an increased risk

According to Fukuchi et.al HPV prevalence was 24.5% for any HPV type and 16.1% for oncogenic types HPV incidence was 23.3% and 11.4% HPV persistence 29.8%

Dr Mudini Human papilloma virus genotypes in invasive cervical carcinoma by HIV status in Harare 200 samples for genotyping of all the HR and LR HPV types and determine the HPV prevalence by type

Dr Manyere Genotyping of HPV on genital warts from Parirenyatwa, Chitungwiza and Harare Central Hospitals’ eligible patients. She has 25/100 samples.

Racheal Dube, a PhD student Molecular characterization and diversity of HPV in Women attending Parirenyatwa hospital in Zimbabwe. Samples will be collected from 3 different anatomic sites of 300 participants
