What is a Wiki? “Wiki is a piece of server software that allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser” -http://wiki.org/ A web site where visitors and administrators can edit content easily. Administrators can revert changes if necessary.

Professor Evaluations Emphasis on in-depth comments instead of numbers Encourages users to organize evaluations by course. Encourages users to break reviews into different topics. Will help to further the dialog between students and professors.

Prototype Built using Zope and Zwiki Hosted on local machine, but could be hosted anywhere. Difficulties with user permissions

Conclusion Wiki is maybe over-simple, but makes life easier for non-computer people Allowing anyone to edit page allows for more content Heavy moderating will be necessary to prevent defacement/offensive postings
