Solar System Araceli Lopez EDTE 226 Could there be life outside of our solar system?
2
What keeps the planets moving around the Sun? Did you know that there are more stars in our Universe than grains of sand on all the beaches of the Earth? What would you think if I told you that every star is a Sun?
3
What is a Dwarf planet? identify the effects of gravity. design a model to represent the gravitational attraction between the Sun and the planet. explain what life may be like without gravity. demonstrate how the solar system travels in predictable paths.
4
Do all objects regardless of mass fall at the same rate? Gravity and inertia keep everything moving in our Solar System. The solar system includes the sun, 8 planets, dwarf planets and their moons, asteroids and comets. The sun, a star, is the central and the largest object in the solar system.
5
Gravity The student will represent the sun, the ball will represent the planet and the string will represent the gravity of the Sun holding the planet in orbit. Student will form a hypothesis.
