Development Plans - Update County Development Plan – Variation No. 2 to designate the central area of Kildare Town as an ACA was adopted and became effective on 21 st October 2013 Naas Town Plan – Two year progress report considered by the members in June 2013 Athy Town Development Plan – Two year progress considered by the members in February 2014

3. Development Plans – Work Underway Proposed Variation No. 3 of CDP – to include provisions to address high tension power lines – currently on public display until 4 th June 2014. Managers Report to Members by 2 nd June 2014. Proposed Variation No. 4 of CDP – Work currently being undertaken to inform future Wind Strategy for the County.

4. Development Plans Review of County Development Plan 2011-2017 will commence in May 2015 with publication of Issues Paper Note: With dissolution of Town Councils the Development Plans for these areas will ultimately be replaced with Local Area Plans

5. Local Area Plans - Update Maynooth LAP adopted 29 th July and became effective on 26 th August 2013 Newbridge LAP adopted 23 rd December 2013 and became effective on 29 th January 2014

6. Local Area Plans Kilcullen LAP 2014-2020 currently on display from 7 th May 2014 to 17 th June 2014.

7. Local Area Plans – On Display 2014 Work currently underway on: Monasterevin (expires November 2014) Sallins (expires January 2015) Kilcock (expires April 2015) Clane (expires May 2015) SEA / AA / SFRA to be completed on all plans
