Log in to Your E-mail 1.Use the Wilson Community College website to access your E-mail.Wilson Community College 2.Enter your logon credentials to access your GroupWise E- mail account. –Login id: first initial last initial and last four digits of your student id number (ex. kb8013) –Password: your birth date in MMDDYY format (ex. 031785) 3.Your E-mail address is your login id @my.wilsoncc.edu. –ex. kb8013@my.wilsoncc.edu Developed by K Bennett for Wilson Community College2009

Explore your Mailbox Click on the subject line to read a message. Click New to compose a new message. Developed by K Bennett for Wilson Community College2009 Click Logout to exit your GroupWise session.

Your Received Messages The sender’s name and e- mail address will appear in the header. The message body will appear below. The sender’s name and e- mail address will appear in the header. Composing a New Message Type your subject. Include your course and section number when e-mailing an instructor. Type the recipients e- mail address in the To field or use the Address Book to lookup the address. Developed by K Bennett for Wilson Community College2009 Type your message in the text box. Remember to add your salutation. Press Send when your message is ready.

Using the Address Book Type in the name you want to search in the search field. Developed by K Bennett for Wilson Community College2009 Click the + icon to add additional search fields. Press Search to start the search.

Tips to Remember Always include your course and section numbers when emailing an instructor. All of our email addresses end with @my.wilsoncc.edu. Routinely delete old and obsolete email.
