Course Requirements Lectures: MWF 12-1, 1528 CCL Readings: online lecture notes (NOT a substitute for lecture!) No textbook or coursepack Lab/discussion section: starts this week in the scheduled classrooms. Usually meets in ITD computing classrooms for ArcView (GIS) labs. Group Term Project: online presentation of a topic covered in the course. Tests: 2 midterms (in class) and a final. Will cover material from lectures, readings, and labs. Evaluation Activities: short web questionnaires and in-class activities

Grading 2 Midterms100 points each Final Exam150 points 11 Labs15 points each (includes participation and evaluation) 2 Term Evaluation Surveys 10 points each 2 Take home Assignments 25 points each Term Project150 points (includes 10 presentation points) Total: approximately 750 points Grades will be determined on a curve at the end of the term, based on the class average
