Established 2009 as “multisectoral and interdisciplinary in practice and involving the general public, civil society and all interested parties in the country“
The tasks and objectives - the exchange and coordination of knowledge, experience and views on the need for action to reduce disaster risk, risk assessment, harmonization of activities

Platform consists of Croatian governmental entities: national emergency management and local and regional governmental bodies
Platform is part of network supporting forming of national knowledge and information center for disaster risk reduction encompassing national agencies which collects information about the hazardous events

14. Conclusion
Next step we took during WCDDR in Sendai, we started to prepare to get full integration of the Croatian National Platform and the Croatian WCoE on Landslide Risk Reduction for disaster risk reduction by signing
