Telemecanique Sensors 2 - Technical support – April 17 th, 2015 XUSL2E/4E light curtains ●Alternative to supply a pilot light or a PLC signaling input ●No additional output integrated into the light curtain to provide such electrical signal ●External light or PLC input, how to energize it : ●Either by using directly the NC contact available in the FSD (final switch device) connected to the OSSD. ●Either by an external component, when a safety interface is used If it is associated to a safety relay, if possible use an optional output of this relay (or of the monitoring unit). Please check current compatibility of this output with the light or PLC input.

In this european standard, the red colour is dedicated for an action required in case of hazardous situation. ●Possible product selection in dia22mm ●Plastic pilot light in XB5A range (version integrated into XY2CE switch) ●Metal pilot light in XB4B range ●Monolithic plastic pilot light in XB7 range
