3 Pressures for Clients Process difficult to understand Reluctance to use appeal systems Disadvantage & Discrimination Settlement issues for newly arrived migrants & refugees War trauma and undiagnosed disabilities Training of Job Network, Centerlink staff : ie Horn of Africa, Karen, Chin client issues

4 Developing Advocacy Strategies Facilitate use of Social Security Appeals for our CALD clients Developing support strategies to assist clients throughout the appeal process Developing effective working relationship with Human Rights & Civil Law Service Victorian Legal Aid
