Pressures for Clients Process difficult to understand Reluctance to use appeal systems Disadvantage & Discrimination Settlement issues for newly arrived migrants & refugees War trauma and undiagnosed disabilities Training of Job Network, Centerlink staff : ie Horn of Africa, Karen, Chin client issues

Developing Advocacy Strategies Facilitate use of Social Security Appeals for our CALD clients Developing support strategies to assist clients throughout the appeal process Developing effective working relationship with Human Rights & Civil Law Service Victorian Legal Aid
