2 THE FUTURE At the present annual growth rates of around 7%, the economies of India and China will outstrip that of USA in the next 30 years.

3 THE OBSTACLES  The technologies and the industrial processes for hi-tech buildings at a nascent stage and unaffordable.  Dearth of large, professional contractors to deliver such projects.  Mechanised construction unaffordable.  Shortage of well qualified people in the design and construction industry.
