7 Adjusting to teaching styles Business subjects come from a range of academic disciplines And the rules can change for different subjects Your goal is to adapt to enable you to work confidently in different situations

8 Strengthen Visual Learning Read the textbook before hearing the lecture in class Preview chapters by reading the objectives, headings & subheadings Take notes and draw diagrams in the lecture

9 Strengthen Auditory Learning Read aloud the text book and lecture notes Tape difficult or key parts of the text and lecture notes Quiz yourself by asking questions aloud

10 Strengthening Kinaesthetic learning Find practical applications and do projects that involve using what you learn Move your finger along text lines as you read Move around and.or act out different parts when reading different views about a topic
