Florida School Counselor Association Increase pre-service CCR Courses Develop task force of Counselor Educators to develop ideas, share resources around CCR training for graduate students in school counseling programs. Next Steps: A meeting with Fl.DOE pertaining to certification/endorsement for CCR; Summit with school counselor educators. BELIEVE

Florida School Counselor Association- In-Service Developed a CCR committee tasked with: Increasing in-service professional development on CCR Survey to determine CCR professional development needs and collect information FSCA’s 2015 convention theme: K- 12 College & Career Readiness 2015 webinar(s) on CCR Working with partners to develop trainings and potential certificate program

4. $10 Million FAFSA Challenge 1.With FSCA, co-authored letter to state advocating for use of student-level FAFSA completion data 2.Announced a $10 Million FAFSA Challenge, a goal to increase federal funds to high school seniors 3.Promoting College Goal Sunday, other FAFSA completion events taking place throughout the state 4.Maintaining FAFSA completion dashboard with school, district and state-level data throughout 2015 5.Sending FAFSA completion data to all district superintendents 6.FAFSA completions in Florida up 15% from 2014!
