2. Everybody waits for holiday. It’s time when we can meet with our friends and we can do things, which we can’t do during the school year. The weather is good; it’s sunny and hot, so you can go out! Don’t waste your free time! You can have a really good time with your friends or family. You can go cycling or swimming. You haven’t been in the nearby park? Go there! You can have a picnic or make a competition with your friends. Most Polish go to foreign countries. But we think that you can spend your holiday in a really nice way here in Poland. For some money you can go to Cracow or to the capital of Poland, Warsaw. You can learn some history of Warsaw or see really beautiful monuments in Cracow. We have got a really interesting place called ‘Mazury’. You can go sailing or go for a trip to the nearby forest. If you like swimming in a sea or sunbathe, you can go to the Baltic Sea too. But remember, you can’t stay in the sun for a long time and you have to use lots of sun cream. Och, and we have really beautiful mountains called Bieszczady. There is, unfortunately, mud everywhere so you have to be careful. But don’t worry! There is the most beautiful sky worldwide! At night, it’s navy blue with red clouds and there are stars everywhere! There is visible and bright Milky Way! You can walk on a lot of trails in the mountains. The most beautiful views are from the Dwernik Kamień and Wetlina. If you wake up early, you can see a really fantastic sunrise. Remember, you have a lot of free time on holiday so go out, meet new people and visit places, which you haven’t seen earlier.

3. Pomerania In our country we have a lot of beautiful places, such as mountains or lakes, therefore, we don't have to leave to another countries for holiday. The best place for holiday is Pomerania. There are beautiful cities with outstanding, old monuments. In Treble City we can see ‘Lifter’, which is a port crane from 1363, Westerplatte and a peninsula. Now in this park there is a monument of defenders of the coast, it has 25 meters. We can also see the fountain of Neptun from 1633. The pier in Sopot is one of the most popular objects in Poland. It is 511,5 meters long, but I think that the most beautiful thing is our Hel Peninsula. There are a lot of towns with ravishing views of the sea. The most popular town is Hel. Since it is at the very end of this peninsula, it lies the furtherst into he sea. There are: The Museum of Protection Coast and a place where we can observe seals, which are very friendly and lovely animals. Jastarnia is located on Hel Peninsula too. In this town there are beautiful beaches, and you can go surfing or try sailing on the boat. I think that Polish coast is a very good place for holiday because you can visit a lot of monuments,we can go to pubs if we want to dance too. Moreover, we can go to sandy beaches and sunbathe or spend time with our families.

4. Mazuria ‘Mazury’ is located in the northeast of Poland. There are lots of lakes (over 4000), virgin nature and hundreds historical monuments.The views are so beautiful! You can relax and breathe with fresh air here. During a journey by bike you can see green fields, grazing sheep, cows and horses. We can visit many interesting places here, for example: a basilica in Lipka, a museum in Olsztynek and Wegorzew, Elbląg’s canal, a stronghold in Giżycko and lots of other places. Mazury has got old buildings, shrines, cementaries. The characteristics of this region are over 4000 lakes. The biggest lake is Śniardwy (113,8 km), the longest -Jeziorak (27km). We can swim and sail if we want. This is fantastic experience.

5. Warsaw Warsaw is the capital of Poland. This is the biggest city in our country. There are lots of fantastic places and monuments like "Łazienki", "Kolumna Zygmunta", Royal Castle. Warsaw is full of entertainment. This is the city which never sleeps. There are lots of pubs, clubs and discos. Warsaw is famous for big shopping centres, for example "Złote tarasy", "Galeria Mokotów" where you can buy fantastic clothes and gadgets. In this place you can also eat a variety of dishes in very good restaurants or pizzerias. You can also spend your free time in theatres like "Teatr Wielki" or cinemas, which are very good, because in Warsaw lots of famous actors can be observed live. At the weekend you and your family can go to the park for a picnic and have a very good fun! In conclusion, if you are in Poland you have to see Warsaw!

6. Mountains Everybody will agree that holidays in the mountains are very exciting. Countless number of adventures and good fun are waiting for us on every step. In Poland mountains are extremely beautiful. They stretch on the south of our country. You can find something interesting for you everywhere. The most beautiful mountains in Poland are Tatra Mountains. There is the highest peak in Polish mountains called ‘Rysy’.Many people from all over the world come here and admire lovely areas. Tatras, and every Polish mountains, are adored for a unique atmosphere. In winter snowboarding and skiing are the most popular sports. Zakopane is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland. There are a lot of fantastic places to visit like Gubałówka. There is a very big fair where you can buy almost everything. For us, Polish mountains are the best place to rest.
