22. On a More Serious Note Getting the SUMER optics and working with Philippe was a really good experience. When the first data came down from SOHO into the EOF, it was an incredible experience. Each instrument turned on and then showed their first data at the daily meetings. The room was packed each day. After that the issue was money and publicity and money.
